The new e-export supports were published in the official newspaper. SMEs and entrepreneurs will be able to benefit from e-export supports in many different areas.

The decision includes the preparation of companies, marketplaces and retail e-commerce sites for e-export, the online display and promotion of Turkish products and brands in foreign markets and marketplaces, the support of their expenses for fast delivery of foreign orders and/or the opportunity for companies to perform e-exports. E-Export Consortiums that will provide.

The new e-export supports, released in 2022, are divided into a total of 9 different titles.

Market Entry Report Support

Companies in the status of e-export consortium, retail e-commerce sites and marketplaces will be able to benefit from market entry report support to enter foreign markets. Within the scope of this support, the expenses related to the sector, country and e-export reports purchased by the aforementioned enterprises in relation to e-commerce markets abroad will be supported by 50% and up to 1.5 million TL per year.

Digital Marketplace Promotion Support

Within the scope of digital marketplace promotion support, some of the digital advertising expenses of companies, e-export consortia and retail e-commerce sites through overseas marketplaces will be covered. For expenses that do not exceed 20% of the sales from the given advertisements, 50% support will be provided, for 3 years for each marketplace. This support will not exceed 7 million 500 thousand liras per year, 15 million liras for retail e-commerce sites and 25 million liras for e-export consortia, depending on the level of the applicant companies.

E-Export Promotion Support

E-export consortia, retail e-commerce sites, B2B platforms and marketplaces will be able to benefit from e-export promotion support for expenses related to marketing activities determined by the Ministry.

These e-export supports will cover 50% of the expenses related to marketing activities for 3 years for each country. This amount cannot exceed 4 million liras per year for B2B platforms, 15 million liras per year for e-export consortia, 25 million liras per year for retail e-commerce sites, and 30 million liras annually for marketplaces.

Order Fulfillment Service and Warehouse Rental Support

Under the heading of order fulfillment service and warehouse rental support, 50% of the order fulfillment services, not exceeding 10% of the e-commerce sales of companies, e-export consortia, retail e-commerce sites and marketplaces in the target country, shall be provided for each country. be covered for a maximum of 3 years.

Rental expenses of warehouses abroad, which are rented to ensure the delivery of products and manage their return processes, will be covered at the rate of 50% per unit, up to 5 million TL per year, for a maximum of 3 years for each country. It will be possible to benefit from these rental expense supports for a maximum of 25 units.

International Marketplace Integration Support

Retail e-commerce sites, companies, marketplaces and e-export consortia will be able to receive e-export support for their expenditures for integration with foreign marketplaces.

Within the scope of this support, 50% of the expenses to be made for integration with a maximum of 6 marketplaces per each marketplace for a period of 3 years will be covered. A maximum of 200,000 TL support can be received for an integration.

Service Support from Online Store and Target Country E-Commerce Stakeholders

The expenditures of e-commerce sites and e-export consortiums to open online stores in foreign markets in target countries and the expenses related to the services that countries will receive from their e-commerce stakeholders will be covered by 50%, for a maximum of 3 years for each country. E-export consortia will receive a maximum of 3 million TL, while other beneficiaries will receive a maximum of 1.5 million TL per year.

Marketplace Commission Expense Support

The commission expenses of e-export consortiums, retail e-commerce sites and companies, foreign marketplaces will be supported by 50% for a maximum of 3 years. This support will be limited to 750,000 TL per year depending on company levels, 2.5 million TL per year for retail e-commerce sites and 3 million TL per year for e-export consortia.

E-Export Development Project Support

Marketplace promotion, e-export promotion, order fulfillment service, warehouse rental, foreign marketplace integration, online store opening, e- The costs of the projects that include the services received from the trade stakeholders and the marketplace commission expenses will be covered at the rate of 75%, up to 15 million TL per project for a maximum of 2 projects at the same time.

Turkey E-Export Platform Support

75% of the expenses of the organization related to the establishment, operation and promotion of the Turkey E-Export Platform, which will be established by the organization to be appointed by the Ministry of Commerce and will bring Turkey's export inventory to the digital environment and bring importers and exporters together, up to millions of pounds.

Support Increase by Target Countries

For the target countries to be determined for e-export by the Ministry of Commerce, the e-export support rates specified within the scope of the decision can be increased up to 20 points. These e-export supports can only be applied as long as the countries in question are included in the list of target countries.

International marketplace integration support and online store support will be determined depending on the market entry conditions of the e-export target countries and will be given according to the countries. All support upper limits will be updated at the rate of “(CPI + D-PPI)/2” at the beginning of the calendar year.

What are the Upper Limits for Beneficiaries?

The sales rate of branded products within the scope of TUQUALITY Support Program will be taken as basis in calculating the rates of support under the scope of order fulfillment service and warehouse rental support, digital marketplace promotion support and marketplace commission expense support.

Depending on the level of the company, the aforementioned supports will be able to benefit from a maximum of 15 million liras per year, e-export consortia, retail e-commerce sites and marketplaces up to 45 million liras per year, and B2B platforms up to a maximum of 4 million liras per year.
